I've spent over 15 years as a jazz musician, a session musician, and a music teacher. Now, I'm returning to my first love: composition. I've been lucky enough to study under Leon Willet, and wrote my thesis with the aid of Clint Bajakian, Peter McConnell, and Michael Z Land.

I believe that a great composition tells a story using sound. It can draw out the poetic character of an instrument's abilities. It is a sonic interpretation of the composer's desires.
